In the Mississauga skyline, two buildings curve across the horizon with the grace of one of Hollywood’s iconic figures. The Absolute Towers have been nicknamed the ‘Monroe’ buildings after Marilyn of the same name. The design finesse of these towers cannot be ignored – the cutting-edge ingenuity allowed for perfected curvature of glass and steel.

Named one of Architectural Digest’s Blockbuster Buildings from Around the World, the Monroe buildings find themselves in the company of Burj Khalifa in Dubai indicating the towers are gathering international attention. The Absolute Towers are the creative genius of a young Beijing firm whose design was executed with Burka Architects. Founded by Yansong Ma in 2004, MAD Architects continues to earn their reputation with innovative projects and certainly doesn’t stop short in the GTA. Opened in 2012, these towers provide one of the tallest views of the city and uniquely a view not for businesses, but for residents to enjoy before bed.
