Sandbanks Provincial Park

Sandbanks Provincial Park is one of the most popular parks in Ontario. With 3 beaches (Outlet Beach, Dunes Beach and Lakeshore Beach) and over 600 campsites.

We made a reservation and got a spot right away. The sand was clean, the security patrolled twice when we were there and the water was pretty clean.

Blue Mountain

Blue Mountain is an alpine ski resort in Ontario. It is one of the largest resorts in Ontario and has been extensively built out, featuring 42 runs, 16 chairlifts and 3 freestyle terrains.

I would suggest making sure your camera has a full battery. The scenery of old buildings, the village and the view above the mountain is breathtaking.

Play-All-Day Pass:

Tyke: $29

Youth: $39

Young Adult: $49

Adult: $59

Scarborough Bluffs

There are nine parks along the bluffs, with Bluffers Park being the only one with a beach.

If you are looking for a GTA area beach, I would recommend going to Scarborough bluffs compared to Woodbine beach. This place offers different options, such as hiking, swimming or just simply having a picnic. Not the cleanest water, but the beach is clean.

Cost:

Monday - Thursday Free Parking

Friday - Sunday Paid Parking

Algonquin Provincial Park

Established in 1893, it is the oldest provincial park in Canada. Its size, combined with its proximity to the major urban centres of Toronto and Ottawa, makes Algonquin one of the most popular provincial parks in the province and the country.

Now this park is massive, me and my girlfriends ended up canoeing for 9 hrs to get into our camping site. This is a great place to spend time with your friends, partner or family. I would recommend going here, there’s no reception here means NO TECHNOLOGY. Just you and your loved ones enjoying nature.

Daily Vehicle Permit Cost:

Regular (minimum) $12.25

Regular (maximum) $21.00

Camping Fee:

Electrical Regular $59.33

Non-electrical Regular $52.55

Canada's Wonderland

Canada's Wonderland is a 134-hectare (330-acre) Theme Park located in Vaughan, Ontario, a suburb approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Downtown Toronto. With seventeen roller coasters, Canada's Wonderland is ranked second in the world by number of roller coasters.

This is a great place to spend your time with your teeangers and kids. Canada’s Wonderland will add a little action in your summer. Exciting rides, scary ups and downs, and a great place to have a variety of fun activities. The place has a water park as well if you have the energy but I would recommend another visit for that part alone!

Tobermory

Tobermory is known as the "fresh water SCUBA diving capital of the world" because of the numerous shipwrecks that lie in the surrounding waters, especially in Fathom Five National Marine Park. Tobermory and the surrounding area are popular vacation destinations.

I’ve read comments about TikTok videos about Tobermory to stop telling people about it. I’ve been here and this is a hidden gem of Ontario. Great destinations and crystal clear water but colder than lakes in Toronto. You won’t regret driving 3.5 hrs if coming from GTA to see this beautiful place. Parking spots are getting full, so it’s better to reserve your spot before going.

Call or book online for reservations.
