  1. PAY ATTENTION TO ECO CHOICES

Colors and textures are trending in warm tones. At the same time, other colors including golden beige, moss green, soft olive, and earthy orange all provide people a peaceful and comfortable feeling. Further, tactile fabrics serve to comfort and cocoon people such as matte velvet, boucle, and linen. These soft and resilient fabrics are suitable for any heavy traffic area in the home.

2. BIOPHILIC DESIGN

Indoor plants have gotten to be a new layer in interior design projects and huge, oversized plants are a developing trend. In the last year though, a new concept has entered the mainstream conversation: Biophilic Design. To maintain a certain level of connection with nature, the biophilic design aims to coordinate nature into building architecture as a way to improve our health, mind, and overall ecosystem. The utilization of reclaimed wood, green walls, hanging plants, and large green installations are some of the main trends that we are seeing and that will shape interior design in the next decade.

3. MINI STUDY NOOKS

At home, flexibility is more important than ever. Working from home has gotten to be more common. Under this circumstance, working areas have to be less formal and should be able to merge well with other living zones. This leads to the appearance of smaller than expected nooks that are coordinated with bigger furniture pieces, such as covered up inside closets or included to bookshelves.

4. STAIRS INTEGRATED WITH EXTRA SPACE

Adding storage spaces or even the integration of the steps into a larger design, such as a working area or shelving has become more and more popular. Not only can it make full use of extra space, it also looks very aesthetically pleasing.

Summary

There are various formats and styles of interior design, in some cases distinct and other times with subtlest differences. However, each shows its flavor, finish, and experience that renders a space special of inspiration and creativity. So, knowing the different interior design styles may be a little easier than you might realize, helping you with a lot less trouble and ensuring you pick the perfect style for your space.
