You better make sure to not miss out on anything. Ontario's Fall activities will spice up your life this season. There are so many reasons to love autumn in Ontario. Mother Nature transforms and paints the landscape with shades of orange and red, with pumpkins overflowing the fields, and happy warmth to be found in sipping cozy hot chocolate.

1. Outdoor Pumpkin Patch: Fall n’ Leaves

Jump into Fall at Toronto’s Outdoor Pumpkin Patch. It’s an open, outdoor food and wine bar pop-up and this is the place where you can don your fashion of the season to have cool Instagram pictures taken. This pop-up will put you in the right spirit. There’s a variety of really fun activities for all ages. From wine tasting, pumpkin bowling, the pumpkin patch where you can get that perfect fall pumpkin patch photo and decorating your own pumpkin. Also, witness the surprise of the season as all the food and drinks here are served in a pumpkin along with candy corn and your favourite apple cider sangria.

2. Apple Picking anyone? Downey’s Strawberry and Apple Farm

​​Fall is the time to take advantage of going to pick-your-own farms for a bushel of apples and provides a great activity you can do with your family, friends, partner, or even just by yourself. There are plenty of places in and around Toronto to stock up on apples of all kinds like at Downey’s Farm! You have wagon rides available each weekend out to the orchard, freshly pressed apple cider and candy apples.

3. Halloween Haunt 

If you’re looking for places to scream, you shouldn't miss Canada’s largest Halloween event. Canada’s Wonderland is making a terrifying return being known for its scariest Halloween event in Toronto. Beware!! haha, it is not for the faint of heart. A Halloween event where the streets are filled with terror, including hundreds of monsters, terrifying scare zones, ghoulish street performers, live music, thrilling night rides, and electrifying live shows. A night full of screams with your friends is definitely a night you shouldn't miss. Book your tickets.

4. Pumpkins After Dark 

This award-winning annual tradition is a must-see featuring thousands of hand-carved pumpkins and live carving demonstrations. This outdoor Halloween event is a scenic 2.5-kilometre driving tour through a magical tunnel lined with glowing jack-o-lanterns which you wouldn't want to miss seeing.

5. Fall Hikes 

Are you that person who loves to hike and explore places, we got you covered. Here are a few Toronto trails that are worth adventuring along this fall that will take you through a red & golden wonderland. All you need is a good pair of shoes, a bottle of water and your hike partner.

6. Downey’s Farm Pumpkinfest 

A fall festival you shouldn't miss which is a short 45-minute drive from Toronto. With a “sea” of 10,000 pumpkins, it's a must-see. On display at this event, this farm has a corn maze, farm animals, wagon rides, live entertainment, jumping pillows, a skeleton band, and more, a lot of things you would love to do during this season for all ages. Freshly baked Pumpkin and Apple Pies, Butter tarts, Pumpkin Donuts, and homemade creamy fudge are available daily in the bakery to satisfy all of your fall cravings. Make sure to buy your tickets online beforehand.

7. Legends of Horror

Casa Loma returns this Halloween season with a terrifying immersive experience for us to enjoy. Wandering through a 2km trail beginning in the lower gardens of Casa Loma and winding its way through the castle's tunnels and darkest spaces never before open to the public. Throughout the one-hour experience, the production's "crescendo" will bring the walls of the castle to life through some amazing 3D projections that bring the characters of the storyline and the walls of the castle to life. Get ready for loads of hair-raising, bone-chilling and mind-blowing thrills.
