With fall approaching we can start putting away our spring/summer wardrobe to accommodate for the changing weather. This fall/winter the fashion trend cycle is recurring from some popular trends that were introduced last year, and we are here for it! Reusing your clothing from previous seasons is a great way to have exceptional style and reduce our consumption of clothing to help the environment. Fashion is all about personal choice to make the style your own, but trends are always available if you are undecided on what to wear.

PREPPY STYLE

The preppy style is one of those fashion trends that will never go out of style. It’s a classic for many people, usually well-off because of its history in the past. The aesthetic is old money style with the idea of having a vacation home in the Hamptons. This look usually involves a collared shirt underneath a crewneck or tight/lose sweater vest. Tennis skirts are a popular for women while for men its usually paired with chino pants and a belt. Even though this trend has been in cycle for many years, modern day has taken it to be more street style to be available to anyone. You don’t have to be well-off to dress for this trend, look more elevated without breaking the bank.

Chunky boot

The chunky boot style has been around for a couple seasons, and they are a great statement pair of shoes to have. They are a classic piece especially in black and can go with almost every outfit. Prada was the first to release these boots however other brands have made them more reasonably priced for the average consumer. These boots have a chunky sole with leather construction which gives them an iconic look to pair with multiple outfits. Be sure to add these to your list his fall if you don’t have them already.

OVERSIZED BLAZER

The original blazer became a staple for women in the early 1940s however recently it became popular to have an oversized blazer for a more relaxed look. Oversized blazers can be expensive if bought brand new however with the transition from buying new to thrifting you are able to find these at your local thrift shop. The blazer is usually paired with flared pants or fitted leather pants. Oversized blazers are a classic piece to add to your wardrobe that will always be part of the trend cycle. Whether you buy it new or used this piece has many uses to boost your style for many seasons to come.
