ROOSTER COFFEE HOOUSE

The Rooster Coffee House is located in downtown Toronto and has 3 separate locations. There are plenty of attractions around their locations, such as the Royal Ontario Museum and the Distillery District which makes Rooster Coffee House the perfect place to stop after doing some city sightseeing. What qualifies Rooster Coffee House to be on this list as well as every other café that will be mentioned is its interior. With its modern designs, bright walls and contrasting colors, and its café bar style, Rooster Coffee House is essentially eye candy. They have even adapted to COVID by adding a pickup/ delivery option so that caffeine addicts all around Toronto can still get their fix.

FIKA CAFE

Located almost directly in the middle of Kensington Market, FIKA Café is yet another highlight of Kensington Market as well as an adorable tiny café. Although this café might be small in size, it makes up for it with its Swedish interior design with bright colors and brick walls. Another surprise that FIKA Café offers is a back garden that offers some tranquility from the buzz of Kensington Market, which makes it the ideal location to stop for a coffee, some sandwiches, and pastries when heading into the market.

HULA GIRL ESPRESSO BAR

Only a couple hundred meters from the Bloor Go/Metro Station, Hula Girl Espresso Bar is a must visit for avid coffee drinkers. Hula Girl Espresso Bar offers a variety of hot and cold beverages, as well as pastries and sandwiches which are perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch.  With ocean colors and a large mural of a Hula Girl on one wall, this espresso bar was inspired by the tastes and flavors of Hawaiian coffee. This warm interior and Hawaiian coffee combo is the perfect place to warm up especially now as it's starting to get much colder outside.

FORGET ME NOT CAFE

Bordering the Entertainment district and Chinatown, Forget Me Not Café is yet another bucket list café to visit in downtown Toronto. This café, although small like others on this list, has one of the coziest, comfortable, and relaxing interiors that one expects in a top tier  café.  Making the most of its space, there is plenty of seating, as well as a large coffee bar with sandwiches and pastries. The Forget Me Not Café made its way onto this list by its creativity in its interior design and décor which makes a wonderful atmosphere for a coffee and a snack.

TANDEM CAFE

Although last on the list, Tandem Coffee is one of the competitors for the best café with superior interior design. Located on King St E, Tandem Coffee is a very well known attraction. This café capitalizes on its vintage and classic look, and makes it an ideal location to have a coffee and enjoy a book, or even do some work. The light colors of 3 walls match perfectly with a fourth wall which is shrouded in green plants, in order to create the perfect space for creativity and tranquility to flourish. They also offer pastries and sandwiches in case you get hungry from so much thinking!
